Astrid Hofmann is the director of CTC, Cultural Transition Consulting, a firm specialising in developing cross-cultural competency in individuals and organisations that need effective global strategies to achieve their business objectives.
Astrid has extensive experience with c-suite executives and teams and has worked extensively across multiple industries in the corporate and government sectors including, financial, automotive, Defence and offshore Community Planning.
Most recently her focus has been on developing and delivering Project Global Citizen; a cultural competency accelerator program that maps culture for international students so they can fit in academically, socially and become more employable no matter where they are in the world.
Her previous work experience was primarily in the automotive sector where she designed and delivered programs to support organisational HR on effective intercultural team management, effective intercultural communication, and global leadership. Ms Hofmann is a committee member with the Australian Human Resource Institutes’ international HR group and is a certified CQ & CELTA trainer.
She is fluent in German having lived in Germany for 15 years, spending a total of 17 years internationally and has extensive travel experience across the globe.
